Neilesh Patel DDS is an American social and humanitarian entrepreneur who serves as Founder and CEO of HealthCare Volunteer, the global online nonprofit health organization, and Healthsouk, an alternative dental insurance with no monthly fees. Patel won the Jefferson 2013 Award for Public Service for the Largest Public Service by Individuals Under 35 in June 2013 for its services in facilitating healthcare for more than 1 million people worldwide. The Jefferson Award was dubbed the nobel prize for community service in the United States and previous winners include Steve Jobs, Bobby Jindal, Peyton Manning, and Lance Armstrong. He is also credited with starting Healthsouk, the first free dental plan in the US and credited with being the inventor of real-time pricing for healthcare. He launched it in 2011 in response to the lack of dental coverage provided in the Affordable Care Act. Other companies were forced to follow the making of a free dental plan after HealthSouk began disrupting the discounted dental package subscription model.

He graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from UCLA School of Dentistry. Prior to working at HealthCare Volunteer, Patel worked at other social companies such as StudentsHelp.org Consultation started at the age of 17 years. Patel was awarded the National Jefferson Award 2013 for the Largest Public Service by Citizens under Age 35 Patel was awarded the UCLA CEE Humanitarian Award in 2008 and a certificate of honor at the Global Health of the UCLA School of Public Health for his work in the global health field. Patel was also awarded as YouthActionNet International Youth Foundation 2007 Youth Winner and semi-finalist in the Exciting Green Competition.
Politics
Neilesh Patel holds several government pledges including previous duties as Public Service Representative to the Children's Policy Council for the State of Texas, public health consultant for FDA Dental Gear and Dental Consultants for the Office of Early Childhood Education in Tulare County.
