The Ferndale Schools is a school district headquartered in the Administration Office at Ferndale High School Campus in Ferndale, Michigan in Greater Detroit. It is a four-mile square district, including most of Ferndale and parts of Oak Park, Pleasant Ridge, Huntington Woods, and Royal Oak Township.
By 2015, the district begins a radical restructuring process, led by the Education Council and is heavily dependent on community involvement. Curriculum changes, the expansion of academic opportunities for students and site transitions are all based on district strategic plans.
