Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths is the original live-to-video animated superhero film released on February 23, 2010. It's based on live video abandoned Justice League: Worlds Collide, which is intended to be a bridge between the Justice League animated television series which is then closed and the upcoming sequel series Justice League Unlimited .
The Crisis on Two Earths premise was borrowed from 1964 Gardner Fox-scripted Justice League of America # 29-30 entitled "Crisis on Earth-Three!" and Grant Morrison 2000 graphic novel JLA: Earth 2, with the heroic Lex Luthor of an alternate universe coming to the Justice League universe to help fight the Crime Syndicates. The film is the seventh of the DC Universe Animated Original film released by Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Animation. The two-disc special edition also includes a short animation featuring the Specters.
On August 11, 2015, Warner Home Video re-released the movie in a combo package that includes copies of DVDs and Blu-Ray, digital copies, and graphic novels that form the basis.

Plot
In an alternate universe where the roles of heroes and criminals are reversed from their counterparts in the mainstream DC Universe, the heroic analogs Lex Luthor and Joker (called Jesters) stole a device called the "Quantum Trigger" of the Crime Syndicate headquarters. When the alarm was tripped, Jester sacrificed himself to allow Luthor to flee and kill J'edd J'arkus and Angelique (alternate versions of Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl) with a bomb. Luthor is almost captured by the remaining Syndicate members (Ultraman, Superwoman, Power Ring, Johnny Quick and Owlman) but passes to a heroic Earth Justice League by enabling dimensional travel devices.
Luthor places the police station, but is misinterpreted as an evil Luthor and ultimately sought after. The League of Justice is summoned and Superman's x-ray vision confirms Luthor's upside-down organ indicating that he is from a parallel Earth and that the evil Luthor is still imprisoned on Stryker's Island. The Justice League took an alternative Luthor to the Watchtower, where they learned about the threat of Syndicate. When the Justice League debated the issue, Luthor hid the Quantum Trigger on the satellite. With the exception of Batman, the rest of the League of Justice (Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash and Martian Manhunter) travel to Luthor's Earth.
Arriving at a Parallel Justice League base, the heroes attacked the Syndicate target. Following a series of successful raids in which they captured Ultraman, the League faced US President Slade Wilson, who released Ultraman and explained that approving Syndicate's demands saved millions of lives. Her daughter, Rose, thinks of her as a coward. Martian Manhunter accidentally read his mind and explained that as a military his father actually had a life more valuable than others. Martian Manhunter then foiled the attempted murder of Rose, and the couple fell in love.
Owlman has developed weapons, Quantum Eigenstate Device or Q.E.D., which Syndicate intends to use as an equalizer against the threat of nuclear revenge. When pressed by Superwoman, Owlman reveals that he is secretly planning to overthrow Ultraman and take control of the Crime Syndicates. He also recognizes weapons can destroy the whole world. Believing there are many parallel Earths, and that each evolves from the choices everyone makes, Owlman becomes obsessed with the idea that nothing he does that might be important, because there will always be a parallel world in which he explores other options. As a result, he searched for Earth-Prime, the first Earth from which all other universes originated, intending to use Q.E.D. to destroy it and trigger a chain reaction that will wipe out the entire multiverse, because that is the only action that will not result in the creation of another universe. Superwoman agrees to help him, because it will give him the power to kill all those who have ever lived. Owlman sent Superwoman with his three lieutenants to the League dimension, and in the Watchtower they fought with Batman, Aquaman, Black Canary, Black Lightning, Firestorm, and Red Tornado. Superwoman and one of his lieutenants escaped with Quantum Trigger, but was followed by Batman.
Batman defeated Superwoman and summoned the League. J'onn and Rose bond, and Rose decides to study the base location of Syndicate to allow the Justice League to confront them. The League arrived at Crime Syndicate month's base with the captive Superwoman, and eventually fought with Syndicate. Owlman fought against Batman and took Q.E.D. bombs into Earth-Prime, finding it to be uninhabited and lifeless, having suffered an unknown disaster that caused it to leave the orbit of the sun. Luthor speculates that a speedster might be able to vibrate and match the temporal vibrations of Q.E.D. which is teleported. device and open the portal. Volunteer Flash but Batman states that he is not fast enough, just Johnny Quick. Johnny agrees and opens the portal.
Batman chases Owlman into Earth-Prime and engages in a brutal battle with his doppelganger. Batman managed to teleport Owlman and Q.E.D. device to another uninhabited Earth, and triggered Q.E.D. Seeing what would happen, Owlman did not even try to defuse the bomb, just saying "No problem" after realizing that an alternative owl in the multiverse would take the opposite action regardless of his choice. The bomb destroyed an alternative Earth, killing Owlman in the process. Batman returns to Earth Syndicate, where tension acts as a vibration channel has made Johnny Fast almost dead. Before dying, Johnny correctly concluded Batman lied about Flash not fast enough and knew what would happen. Nonetheless, he showed no ill will towards Batman, dying with a smile. Martian Manhunter returned, accompanied by President Wilson and the US Marines, and together they captured Ultraman, Superwoman, and Power Ring.
Wilson thanked the heroes for helping save their world and told them that he had ordered the Marines to support the local police forces and proceeded to capture the remaining Syndicate members. Although Rose asks Martian Manhunter to stay with her, the group returns to their dimensions. Batman and Superman then discussed a membership drive with five heroes called before greeting the Justice League.

Production
In 2004, Bruce Timm revealed that the DCAU Direct-to-Video Justice League feature is being developed to connect Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. The film is titled as Justice League: Worlds Collide . One of the goals of this film is to explain how Wonder Woman earned its Invisible-Jet. However, the project was eventually canceled by Warner Bros. In 2008, however, Timm stated that Justice League: Worlds Collide can be released someday in the future.
Finally, Worlds Collide was rewritten by the late Dwayne McDuffie for the DC Universe Animated Original movie as Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, but deleted all connections with the animated series. In addition, Green Lantern John Stewart was replaced by Green Lantern Hal Jordan.

This movie tops the list as one of Dwayne McDuffie's better works in the DC animation world and though it reminds us of the stories we've seen in previous animations, brilliant work done by Moi, directing by Sam Liu and Lauren Montgomery, and the story makes it worth watching again. "
