Guinness World Records recognizes a record of ground speed for vehicles powered only by solar panels. This record is currently held by Sky Ace THREE from Ashiya University. The record 91.332 km/h (56.75 mph) is set on August 20, 2014 at Shimojishima Airport, in Miyakojima, Okinawa, Japan.
