The Page Up and Page Down buttons (sometimes abbreviated as PgUp and PgDn ) are the two keys commonly found on computer keyboards.
Both of these buttons are mainly used for scrolling up or down in the document, but the scrolling distance varies between different applications. In word processors, for example, they can jump by physically imitated pages or by a screen display that may only display a portion of a single page or multiple pages at once depending on the zoom factor. The operating system is different whether the button (pressed without modifiers) just moves the display - ie. in Mac OS X - or also the paste - ie. in Microsoft Windows. In the right-to-left setting, PgUp will move well to up or right (not left) and PgDn will move down or left (not right) button dubbed previous page and next page , accordingly.
