Messed Up Template
The original template looks a bit chaotic. It's not grouped by product line correctly, has redundancies, and names are not accurate. I propose the following alternatives:
If there are no objections, I will turn into alternatives within a few days. - ADTC Talk Ctrb. 19:00, December 1, 2011 (UTC)
- Since no objections or suggestions are submitted, I will now change the template to the proposed alternative. - ADTC Talk Ctrb. 21:57, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
There's still a lot of confusion (eg on eBay) about which generation/model. I have tried to add model and generation info for the Kindle monochrome model from the most appropriate Amazon page: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/help/id=201263790 I also want to add the serial number as a way of identifying them - except I do not know if it's the right place: most models have one or two serial numbers, but Paperwight seems to have about 20. Amazon's marketing droids really have caused chaos! Aredgers (talk) 20:04, 19 November 2017 (UTC)
- I do not agree on including the model number, because I can not find a good reference that gives a number. Here's something somebody wrote a few years ago about the first four numbers that seem to be true, despite missing a new model - Frmorrison (talk) 15:27, 20 November 2017 (UTC):
