Bumblebee is a fictional character from the Transformers franchise. In most of the incarnations, Bumblebee is a small Autobot with a yellow line (with a black line) with most of the alternative vehicle modes inspired by several generations of American Chevrolet muscle cars (with live-action live movie versions of real Camaros: original vehicle mode based on the Volkswagen Beetle Type 1 European classics). The related characters and events are described, below, using the tone of the universe. He was named after the bee genus that inspired his paint scheme.

Bumblebee (known as Abejorro in Mexico, Bumble in Japan, Moscardo in Portugal, "RdongÃÆ'³ in Hungary, < b> Maggiolino in Italian) is the "little sister" of the heroic Autobot faction or protagonist and mascot, constantly trying to prove himself in the eyes of other robots - especially its leader, Optimus Prime. This often causes him to take risks that keep him in danger. Though a few clever people, he was a reliable and reliable messenger and spy, his small size allowed him to go to places his bigger commander could not do. He is very fuel-efficient, has great visual acuity, is highly adaptable to the underwater environment and transforms into a VW Volkswagen yellow Saturn. He was later reconstructed into a stronger and more mature form like Goldbug.
Reception
At BotCon 2010, Hasbro named Bumblebee as one of the first five robots to be sworn in the Transformers Hall of Fame. He is also the second favorite IGN Autobot.

Bumblebee holds the distinction as the second character that appears on the screen in the original Transformers animation series, while on a mission to recover the small coupling energy conductor with Wheeljack, which depicts the energy crisis holding power over their home planet Cybertron. Both of these characters are often seen together in the first season and the beginning of the second season, sometimes doing missions. Bumblebee is next among the Transformers aboard the Ark while departing in search of a new world and new energy source, which falls on Earth, causing Transformers to be stuck in stasis for four million years. Built in 1984, Bumblebee helped Ironhide extinguish raging rivers and use its small size to help the explosive human plants Autobot ally Sparkplug Witwicky in the midst of the Decepticon mining operation.
He later made friends with Sparkplug's son Spike, but on their first adventure together they were kidnapped by the Decepticons, and Bumblebee brainwashed to lure other Autobots into a trap. Bumblebee recovers in time to help his fellow Autobots stop the Decepticons from sending Spike to Cybertron. After their first adventure, they become best friends for life because they both realize that they make a good team.
When his Autobot counterparts were under Megatron's control minus himself and Jazz, after placing a destabilizer of personality in their filling chamber, he went with Spike to the Air Force base to stop Optimus Prime, Brawn and Prowl from destroying the Air Force jet. Bumblebee tried to contact Optimus but to no avail. After Sparkplug creates an Attitude exchanger to return all Autobot to normal that works except Optimus as it avoids it. When there is a left attitude exchanger, as they use all the others, Bumblebee takes it when he wants to make one final attempt to get Optimus back to common sense by telling him that he is not evil and encouraging him to fight the Megatron control who made it through him when he asked for his help , quickly. Bumblebee puts an Exchanger Exchanger on Optimus's legs that returns it to normal condition and is given a hug by Optimus as a thank you for not giving up and saving it. After stopping the Optimus Decepticons thanking everyone for help, especially for Bumblebee for what he did for him, then Bumblebee and Spike gave Ratchet and Sparkplug tools because they needed to fix the Air Force jets that Autobot destroyed when under Megatron's control.
When the dead body of Optimus Prime is returned from space by a pair of human scientists who hate Transformers who intend to use it to lure the Autobots into a trap, Bumblebee is part of a rescue team led by Rodimus Prime to recover it. Entering the lab, some Transformers are exposed to alien spores that trigger anger that can infect them with the Hate Epidemic, which causes them to become wild, and although Bumblebee avoids infection, it is completely damaged by infected Superion rampaging. An alien race member called Quintessons then fixes and restores Optimus Prime to life, so he can stop the Hate Disaster and fix Bumblebee. However, the small Autobot was really badly damaged, so he needed the whole reconstruction and rebuilt as Throttlebot. In his shiny new body, he commented that he had surpassed just being a regular Bumblebee, and now a "golden bug", pushing Optimus Prime to redub his Goldbug . Goldbug travels with Optimus Prime to the Decepticon planet of Chaar to secure a heat-resistant alloy that can protect it from the plague, only to become infected on a mission and then recover when Prime uses the power of the Matrix of Leadership to clean out the plague. Goldbug also made short appearances in the fourth and final seasons of the series, defending Autobot City and Cybertron against a massive Decepticon attack. Due to an animated fault, Bumblebee appeared in his Bumblebee incarnation during a wide filming in a celebration during the final episode of the series.
Transformer: The Headmasters
In Transformers: The Headmasters , Goldbug and other Throttlebots are in Cybertron when Vector Sigma begins to shake as a consequence of Optimus Prime releasing Matrix energy to heal the Disaster Epidemic of the previous year. The Decepticons immediately attacked the planet in an attempt to control the computer, and Goldbug and Throttlebots join Dinobots Grimlock and Slag in defending the line against them. Unfortunately, they were fainted by the new Decepticon Headmaster Mindwipe hypnotic powers, but they have managed to delay the Decepticons long enough for the Autobot Principal to come and fight.
The Throttlebots disappeared after this meeting, showing they may have been destroyed, but they finally reappeared a few months later when the Decepticons implemented their final plan to destroy Earth. Goldbug and Throttlebots teamed up with Fastlane and Cloudraker to investigate the rise of "Death Tower" in Santiago, Chile, only to find Predaking there waiting for them. Naturally, the little bot is not suitable for strong joiners, but they fought bravely, clinging to their limbs before being thrown sideways. Fortunately, the Targetmaster Autobot arrives just in time to save them and take Predaking down. This is also because of budget cuts that occur in the middle of the film.

The Bumblebee shuttle can take Rattrap and company when their ship is destroyed. After storing more Unicron victims from the Decepticons, Bumblebee's team returned to their own time.

In a story called "Demi Blaster, you'll get to know them...!" from Comic-Magazin issue issue # 12 by German comic book publisher Condor Verlag Optimus Prime instructed Backstreet, Bumblebee and Ruckus on how to identify Autobots from Decepticons in combat using Ark computers. Bumblebee's Pretender is one of the ones he presents to the Autobots.

On the first Devil's Due G.I. Joe vs. The Transformers crossover, the evil terrorist organization Cobra was the first to reveal the Ark and Transformers who slept in it, capturing and reformatting large numbers of them to use it as a war machine. Bumblebee and Wheeljack are able to avoid this fate, contact the team created in response to Cobra's threat, G.I. Joe, and helped free their fellow Autobots. Unlike most Autobots, which have a new alternative mode, Bumblebee and Wheeljack have their original Generation 1 alternative mode in this series.
In the second crossover, Bumblebee is one of the Autobots that was sent back to the past due to an accident with the Teletran-3 spacebridge computer. As part of a small group that was transported into the 1970s, Bumblebee reformatted as a small economic car (this time, resembling AMC Pacer) before the Joes and Cobras team-ups returned all Transformers to the present Cybertron.
Bumblebee takes center stage in the third crossover series, as he, Grimlock, Arcee, and Perceptor are sent to Earth to help G.I. Joe in removing the influence of Cybertronian technology on the planet. Sporting the original alternative mode again, he proved to have something that has a crush on Arcee. When Cobra attacks the base, the Autobots help drive the troops of the Android Cobra Battle Force. Journeying to Cybertron to stop Serpentor, the unsuitable group was first ambushed by Cannibalizers, then by Serpentor, Piranacon, Predaking and Stunticons, with Bumblebee being badly injured as he walked right into the foot of Predaking. He was later executed by Serpentor, who later commented that Bumblebee's death was the only thing that really made him feel the emotion. Although the famous character is hard to kill, it seems his death is permanent, as Serpentor commented that he felt something left him, most likely his spark. A statue in his memory is seen in the last edition. His death will continue to result, as seen in the fourth series, where Prime insists on traveling to Earth personally rather than exposing one of his troops to the same fate.
Dreamwave Productions
When Dreamwave Productions unveils their first-generation version that has been re-imagined for the 21st century, Bumblebee comes to the new adventure of the Autobots once more. The War Within , set in Cybertron's past, venturing as Bumblebee's early adventures in the Battle of Altihex and Iacon's defense in the face of an attack by Shockwave.
When Optimus Prime and Megatron disappeared in early spacebridge experiments, causing the Autobots and Decepticons to split into smaller factions, Bumblebee remained with the Autobots under the Prowl command.
As always, Bumblebee was one of the Transformers who was trapped inside a stasis on a fallen Ark ship that was reactivated on Earth in 1984. Though not depicted in fiction, the general events of the television series pilot seemed to take place at Dreamwave continuity - by meeting Bumblebee and befriending Spike Witwicky.

In the future possibilities recorded in an exclusive comic book available at BotCon 2005, Bumblebee is featured as director of Autobot espionage. After being on the path of Decepticon Flamewar agent for a long time, Bumblebee interrupted the communication between Flamewar and Tripredacus Council and revealed that his agent, Ricochet, had installed a degenerative virus to the Deathsaurus cloning troop. With Flamewar now exposed, Bumblebee shows that he is nothing more than an obligation to the Council, which blew his ship.
Based on the Transformers Classics toy line, the 2007 Timelines story is set 15 years after the end of the Marvel Comics story (ignoring all Marvel U.K. and Generation 2 comic events). Megatron has survived the Ark collision on Earth, reformat itself into a new form, and now leads Ramjet, Skywarp, Soundwave, Starscream, and Constructicons. Optimus Prime also returns to Earth to rule Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Grimlock, Jetfire, Mirage, and Rodimus (formerly Hot Rod).
In Crossing Over, when Cybertronians Skyfall and Landquake arrive on Earth Megatron suddenly tries to destroy them, but Optimus Prime and his Autobots are able to push Megatron away.
Bumblebee appeared in the story of Generation 2: Redux where he was among the reinforcements of Autobot City in response to Decepticon attacks on the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. Once there, the Autobots are able to defeat the Decepticons, but during the Autobots fight are exposed to fine Forestonite, which enhances and mutates the Cybertronian system. He got an upgrade to his Generation 2 form.
IDW Publishing
The fall of 2005 was the third relaunch for the Transformer comics series, this time under the management of IDW Publishing.
IDW's core worlds were introduced with six mini-series editions, The Transformers: Infiltration , making it clear that corporate retrieval in the Generation 1 universe differs radically. Bumblebee emerged as a member of the small team of Autobots under the command of Prowl, operating secretly on Earth from Ark-19 . Still a Volkswagen Beetle, he (like other Autobots) has the additional ability to produce a "holo-material" avatar of a young woman to impersonate a driver and to interact with humans. Working with Ratchet and a trio of young men to search for an abandoned Decepticon base, Bumblebee was able to lower the Skywarp during the Decepticon attack, obscure the Decepticon and shoot it out of the sky despite its teleport system. After Blitzwing and Skywarp brought the base down, Bumblebee helped save people, despite previously commenting that they would receive a loss. As Megatron then engages a traitor Starscream in battle, Bumblebee does what he does best by spying on the fight; almost shot by Battlechargers, he was saved by Prowl and Jazz. In the follow-up, Transformers: Escalation , he was left running Ark-19 himself.
Bumblebee is one of the Autobots who opposed Decepticons serving the old gods at Publishing IDW Publishing Infestation 2: Transformers.

Transformer Parody Generation 1 aired in the December 23rd, 2008 episode Frank TV , called "Frank the Halls". In the story, Optimus Prime and his Autobots (Bumblebee, Jazz, and Wheeljack) against Megatron and his Decepticons (Soundwave and Starscream) when Optimus runs out of gasoline. Optimus gets angry with gas prices, steals fuel from the annoying Autobot Prius Maximus hybrid, and joins the Decepticons in destroying the city.
Bumblebee appeared on episode Robot Chicken "Trash in Luggage". In the segment he was, he was flogged with a towel used by Grimlock in the locker room and then appeared beside Optimus's bed before he died of prostate cancer.

In "Flash Forward, Part 3", Jhiaxus, seeks to create a new faction of Transformers unity, the "loan", forestonite, Hi-Q, and blueprint personality components of Quantum Laboratories. One of these Transformers is a clone of Bumblebee. Bumblebee, along with other clones, was introduced to Pyro as a second generation Transformers. In "Flash Forward, Part 5", Bumblebee and Mirage greet Sideswipe clones, unaware that the clone is actually the original Sideswipe. In A Flash Forward, Part 6 , Bumblebee, Mirage, and Ironhide face the escaped Autobots, but Pyro convinces them to return to Earth with him.

Transformer Cinematic Universe
Bumblebee appears as one of the main Autobot characters in the Transformers live-action film series . He retains some elements of the Generation 1 design, like the iconic horn pieces on his head, which are articulated in the film. The cautious but brave Bumblebee is given an alternative mode different from his original G1 incarnation, instead of the Volkswagen Beetle, he transforms into a yellow Chevrolet Camaro (an enhanced model year in the first film). Director Michael Bay stated in a special feature DVD 2 of the first film, that the change of Bumblebee's alternative mode is due to the fact that the Volkswagen Beetle reminds him of Herbie. Because of a battle injury, he is effectively muffled, and communicates through the use of selected radio and television signals. Although the original sound is returned at the end of the first Transformers movie, he communicates only through his radio in Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon and < i> Age of Extinction . Biography for the Decepticon Hardtop figure states that he and Bumblebee are old rivals and not Megatron who ruined Bumblebee's vocal processor, but shot from a hardtop gun. This, however, is almost in direct conflict with the film's prequel.
Bay stated in an initial interview that Bumblebee stood about 17.5 feet (5.33 m), but the official guide to video game Transformers said he was 16 feet (4.88 m).
The vehicles used for Bumblebee, Ironhide, Jazz, and Ratchet were displayed by General Motors at the 2007 Detroit River Walk Festival about a week before the US movie release.
In the November 2006 edition of the November edition of BioBlober, Bumblebee is a feature article. Initially the obsolete Camaro of 1969, the producers chose the 1977 model. It was painted yellow with black stripes, primer and rust patches, hooded spoon hood, SS Cragar wheels in front, Eric Vaughn Real Wheels at the back, marine vinyl seats, and even an eight-track player. The Camaro Concept model was built using Holden Monaro 2005 by Saleen, with a body built of the same R & D molds used in the original Camaro Concept 2006 (Monaro and Camaro share the same Zeta platform). As a tribute to Bumblebee's original form, the yellow Volkswagen Beetle appears next to him at the car dealership. Bumblebee destroys the Beetle to make sure Sam buys it. He also has a bee-shaped air freshener attached to his rearview mirror with the words "Bee-otch". Air fresheners are the subject of a $ 850,000 suit for alleged resemblances to other designs.
Since his conversion from 1977 Camaro to 2006 Camaro Concept, Bumblebee's alternative mode has continued to evolve throughout the film series. In Revenge of the Fallen, he drove a different set of wheels (apparently, in the first two films actually a composite hoop made to look like a set of wheel-disc brakes) and a custom front bumper. For Transformer: Dark of the Moon (Now SS Camaro), the color changes from yellow to yellow with thick black stripes across the hood, roof, and trunk. IDW Publishing
In Transformers: Defiance # 1, go back to the ancient Cybertron, Bumblebee, and Cliffjumper in charge of watching the All Spark at the temple in Simfur. In issue # 3, Megatron learns that Optimus has broken into his room and sent Bumblebee, Camshaft, Cliffjumper, Jazz, Prowl, and Smokescreen to capture Optimus Prime for treason. Optimus demands to speak directly with Megatron, but while on the way to Megatron's location, they are ambushed by Barricade, Brawl, Crankcase, Frenzy, Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker, under orders to kill them all. Smokescreen able to protect Optimus and his group in the confusion of the explosion. In issue # 4, Arcee, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Jazz, and Smokescreen ambushed Ironhide, which they believed worked for Megatron, but Ironhide instead merged with Autobots Optimus Prime. Arcee and Bumblebee then spy on the construction of the Decepticon star ship Nemesis .
The Transformers: Movie Prequel reveals that in the battle of Tyger Pax, Megatron forces attacked, searching for the All Spark. The Bumblebee squad (which included Arcee) tried to hold the Decepticons, but was eventually overwhelmed. They were arrested and tortured by Swindle, with Megatron intervening personally to torture Bumblebee for information. However, they refused to talk long enough for Prime's secret plan to come into force - launching the All Spark into space. Megatron tries to chase him, but Bumblebee stops him. The angry Megatron tore off Bumblebee's arm and destroyed his voice capacitor, promising to seize All Spark for himself in the end. Bumblebee recovered and repaired, although his voice was damaged beyond repair. Bumblebee then volunteers to go to space to stop Megatron from getting All Spark.
Finally arriving on Mars in his protoform mode, Bumblebee then proceeded to Earth in 2003, his arrival tracked by the Hubble space telescope.
After landing in New York City, Bumblebee assumes the beat-up form of the Chevrolet Camaro, while avoiding an agent from a government organization known as Sector 7, who calls him NBE-2 (or Non-Biological Extraterrestrial 2). Bumblebee then downloads information about Captain Archibald Witwicky. Arriving at a mental hospital where he had been imprisoned, he found it now a ruined ruin. Destroyed by the barricades that chase, he later discovers All emissions like Spark somewhere in New Mexico - not realizing it is a trap set by Sector 7. However, their plans to capture him were thwarted when Starscream, Barricade, and Blackout arrived. When the Decepticons shoot Sector 7 traps into pieces, Bumblebee escapes - unaware Decepticons have let him go so they can follow him and see what he knows about All Spark. She was last seen in the series towards Tranquility, Nevada - the home of Sam Captain Witwicky's descendants.
In the comic adaptation of the film, Bumblebee downloaded information on the internet about the Concept Camaro car and took its shape instead of passing the car in the tunnel, as seen in the movie.
He also appeared in the official movie sequel comic called The Reign of Starscream .
In Transformer: Alliance , the Autobots help the human soldiers after fighting in Mission City, destroying All Spark powered machines created. After Ratchet finished fixing Bumblebee's legs, a trailer was obtained for Optimus Prime to bring the remnants of Jazz. The Autobots then left Mission City before Sector 7 personnel arrived to claim the remnants of the Decepticons. About a month later, Epps and Lennox contacted Optimus Prime, Ratchet and Ironhide about helping them escort the remains of the Decepticons to the naval base. Unknowingly they were spied by Barricade, who sent information to Starscream.
Bumblebee appears in Transformers: Tales of the Fallen # 1, where Barricade kidnaps Sam to remove Bumblebee and learns where All Spark fragments are. Bumblebee save Sam and fight Barricade, who escapes in the process.
Bumblebee appeared on Transformers: Nefarious # 1, arranging months after the 2009 movie event. Bumblebee, Breakaway, Jolt, Knock Out and Dune Runner were sent to investigate fragments of flowers detected in the Royal Petrochemicals. Arriving first, Breakaway was warned by Soundwave to leave, but did not want to give up, the Autobot was quickly defeated. Bumblebee and his team fired on Soundwave, which blurred.

In "Twilight's Last Glitter Part 3", Bumblebee tries to take Megatron at Sector 7 headquarters. Meanwhile, Mikaela tries to free Optimus Prime, but she is attacked by Frenzy.
Bumblebee appeared in issue # 17 of Titan Transformers Magazine, in a story titled "Return to Cybertron Part 1". In this story, he is one of the Autobots who went to Cybertron.
Bumblebee re-issued the # 22 edition of the Titan Transformers Magazine series in a story titled "The Desperate Decepticon."

Bumblebee also appeared in the prequel of Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday. Here, he reveals he can still communicate with other Autobots through digital links. Bumblebee is part of the Autobot Prime team looking for the All Spark, and is described as one of the best scouts of the Autobots. He was sent after the Ghost-1 (reverse-engineered Megatron's) human ships to make contact, but was ambushed and forced underground by Starscream. Meet the giant rock-chewing worm, he was rescued by Optimus Prime. Heading into the atmosphere once again, he and Ratchet take Barricade, but can not stop Starscream from destroying human ships.
Target Robo-Vision
According to his long biography of Robo-Vision's exclusive Target store website, Hardtop came to Earth and found Witwicky's house before any of the other Decepticons, but could not attack Witwickys because Bumblebee found it first and buried it under a hundred tons of rubble in the Rocky Mountains.
Live action movie
Bumblebee appeared in the 2007 Transformers live-action movie, returning to his role as an Autobots human ally - in this case, Sam Witwicky. Sam has sunglasses from his great-grandfather, Captain Archibald Witwicky, a famous explorer. Unbeknownst to Sam, the glasses are carved with coordinates that show the All Spark's life-giving location. Bumblebee was assigned to keep Sam from the Decepticons, and posed as a dilapid Chevrolet Camaro 1977 when Sam and his father bought a car for Sam. They end up buying Bumblebee, because there's no small part for Bumblebee to ruin any other car at the dealer to make sure of its purchase. Then, Bumblebee goes from Sam's house to call the Autobots. Sam thinks Bumblebee is stolen, and chases the car on his bicycle. Sam then watched Bumblebee turn into robot mode and report it to the police, who believed he was using drugs. Bumblebee returns to Sam's house to pick her up but she runs away from him resulting in a chase through the city. After Sam was attacked by Barricade Bumblebee, he approached and destroyed his Mikaela Banes, when he followed Sam, saving him because he managed to escape. Battle of Bumblebee Barricade while Sam and Mikaela fight Frenzy where they both end up winning, although they are not killed just defeating them for a while. Bumblebee can get Sam's trust, because he understands that he does not want to hurt them. When Mikaela criticizes the poor condition of Bumblebee's vehicle mode, she scans the Camaro Concept that passes and turns it into the same model. Bumblebee then pushes Sam and Mikaela into an alley where they meet up with other Autobots when they introduce Bumblebee properly, because his voice gets busted in the battle, told Sam and tells him that Bumblebee is his guardian as well why he talks over the radio. They return to Sam's house and take glasses, but a secret government organization, Sector 7, captures Sam and Mikaela. Autobots are trying to save them but Bumblebee is captured and taken by Sector 7. There he is tested/tortured by Sector 7 scientists using electric shocks that seem to hurt him. Sam finally negotiated his release. Bumblebee survived a major battle in the movie climax, though he lost the use of his legs after helping Ironhide deflect missiles from Starscream. With Mikaela's help, he can rejoin the battle backed by a tow truck (later confirmed to be Longarm Autobot), and destroy Brawl. After the battle, Bumblebee is fully repaired and asks to stay with Sam and given permission from Sam and Optimus Prime. He was later seen alongside Ironhide, Ratchet, and Optimus watching the sun set while Sam and Mikaela lay on their hood at the end of the film.
Bumblebee is voiced by Mark Ryan in the movie, but he mostly talks to his radio, after the sound processor has broken (despite the actual sound creaking and whining laboriously through many films). He also spoke with excerpts from television shows and movies, in a similar way to Wreck-Gar from the 1986 film and season three of the G1 cartoon series. Screenwriter Roberto Orci explains that Bumblebee regains his voice through regenerative Ratchet lasers around his neck when they meet, and ultimately works with magic at the end of the film. He agrees this is not made clear. Frenzy regenerated on coming into contact with the All Spark, and so it made all sense that the sound of Bumblebee, along with his legs, was also healed by the All Spark, though no mention of this was made in the film. It is said that making Bumblebee mute is to show that his bond with Sam goes beyond words.
Bumblebee also appeared in the movie sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen . When a fragment from AllSpark accidentally turns the kitchen equipment in Sam's house into a wild robot, Bumblebee intervenes to save him and his family. Thus, he almost destroyed their home. He still uses his radio to speak, though his vocal processor is being fixed in the first movie. However, he responds in a half way when Sam tells him to get into the garage by saying "whatever." Bumblebee showed excitement while going with Sam to college, but was then disappointed when Sam told him that he could not make it. Due to the incident at Witwickys' he was also forced to leave their garage. As soon as Sam starts his semester on campus, Bumblebee follows him and tries to remind him of the Decepticon Pretender (named Alice) who follows Sam. When Sam and Alice drove inside Bumblebee, the Autobot tried to warn Sam through his radio. Having failed in this case, Bumblebee deliberately braked several times and threw Alice around the interior in an attempt to damage Pretender. Bumblebee then begins to spray the lubricant at Alice, thus embarrassing Sam and forcing Alice to flee.
As soon as Megatron and Scalpel begin to torture Sam, Bumblebee arrives next to Optimus Prime to fight Megatron, Starscream, and Grindor. After Optimus's death, Bumblebee arrives with Sideswipe, Ironhide and Ratchet to cover Sam's escape. When they mourn for Optimus, Sam tells Bumblebee that he has failed the Autobots, but Bumblebee tells Sam through his radio, "You are the person I care about most in my life, and if there is something you need, I will win." "... "After bringing Sam, Mikaela, Leo and Simmons to the Smithsonian museum to resurrect Jetfire, Bumblebee then travels with humans through the Space Bridge to Egypt (caused by Jetfire) along with Jetfire, Twins Skids and Mudflap, and Wheelie to find the Matrix of Leadership. During the last confrontational battle, Sam and Mikaela accidentally trap the trap created by Rampage (who uses Sam's parents as bait). Bumblebee remains hidden from Rampage's vision, allowing Sam to place Rampage in a place where Bumblebee can initiate a surprise attack. During the ensuing bout Ravage attacked him from behind and jumped on his back. In Transformers: Dark of the Moon , Bumblebee no longer lives with Sam and continues other missions with the Autobots such as dismantling illegal nuclear facilities in the Middle East. This is the first time a stealth style upgrade is featured in the movie. When Sam arrives with Carly, Wheelie and Brains, Bumblebee rescues them from their captivating soldiers. He has a new vehicle mode, a modified 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, before he scanned the yellow Camaro 2014 and transformed into a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro concept, as this robot mode has been altered as well and resembles a Bumblebee design from Generation 1 Comic IDW. At the end of the Age of Extinction , Bumblebee assumes the Autobot leadership and protects the Yeager family when Optimus slides into space with Seed, discovering a mysterious Creator. Although Bumblebee mostly can not speak in movies and still rely on radio communications, he is shown to be able to express a limited speech but with a more high-pitched voice, probably means his voice box heals.

In the episode of "Autoboot Camp", Bumblebee has a flashback to his days as an Autobot trainee. During the training, he meets Sekat, Longarm, Ironhide, and Wasp. In the series Transformers: Timelines , Goldbug is an evil alternative version of Bumblebee.
According to his official biography, Goldbug was once a young drifter known as Bumblebee. He stays on Polyhex's streets with no real purpose.
