Products
CloudBerry Lab develops software for automated backups, file management and synchronization that is used by individuals, and small to medium-sized enterprises. The company's main products include CloudBerry Backup, CloudBerry Explorer and CloudBerry Drive.
CloudBerry Backup
CloudBerry Backup is a standalone program that allows backup automation and recovery of files, folders and system images. The product is designed for cloud backup but can also work for local backups to external hard drives. The latest product version can back up data to a variety of cloud service providers and support so-called "cold" storage services such as Azure Cool Blob Storage and Google Cloud Storage Nearline.
To access and backup files users should log in with a public storage account. However, CloudBerry Lab doesn't have access to the customer data. After connecting to one of the supported accounts users can create a backup plan to launch full backup or backup new or changed portions of files after the initial backup has been made. The backup can be implemented manually or scheduled to start automatically. The software has both a graphical user interface and a wizard for setting up a backup plan. The data can also be backed up on a block-level, be optionally compressed or encrypted with a 256-bit AES Encryption.
CloudBerry Backup comes with different editions. Windows Desktop, Mac and Linux editions are aimed for personal files backup, whereas Windows Server, MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, Oracle and Ultimate editions are designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses. A command-line interface is supported for all editions and operating systems (Windows, Mac and Linux).
CloudBerry Managed Backup is an online control panel built for managed service providers and enterprises which operate with more than five computers. It provides additional features such as central management and monitoring and includes support of the command-line interface as well as Autotask, ConnectWise and Office 365 applications. Managed Backup solution is offered with an optional rebranding allowing an MSP to fully white label the end product as well as limit the number of working cloud storage services.
CloudBerry Explorer
CloudBerry Explorer is a freeware Windows client for managing files between a computer folder and a remote online storage, such as Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack or Rackspace. The software has a graphic interface similar to FTP software enabling users to manage files between two directories (either local or cloud) allowing for multiple accounts connection and working with them simultaneously. With the ability to create, browse, delete or share both buckets and user files, Cloudberry Explorer provides more functionality than typical cloud management software. It also allows for file transfers from one bucket to another.
CloudBerry Explorer's version for Amazon S3 includes CloudFront support which enables users to create and manage CloudFront distributions, distribute private content, stream media content and manage IAM policies.
The product has a support of PowerShell rules and the command-line interface that allows a user to automate the entire process of transferring and managing files (upload, download, set permissions on individual and folder level) to Amazon S3 and other cloud storage services as well as managing Amazon CloudFront distributions. It also supports logging and custom HTTP headers,. CloudBerry Explorer PRO has advanced features such as encryption and compression, compare and sync, multipart upload and multithreading, FTP/SFTP support and predefined headers.
CloudBerry Drive
CloudBerry Drive is a Windows program that mounts cloud storage either on PC or a Windows Server. It creates a network or external drive within the Windows Explorer interface and shows files stored on a particular cloud storage account. Its main features include drag and drop file management, encryption, support of FTP/SFTP and the command-line interface.
CloudBerry Remote Assistant
CloudBerry Remote Assistant is a software for remote control and desktop sharing. The solution is designed to access and control a remote desktop or server computer over the Internet. The software is currently in beta and is available for Microsoft Windows for free. Remote Assistant has encrypted connections, text and voice chat.
