Technology
Sync creates a special folder on the user's computer, which is automatically synchronized to the cloud. The primary difference between Sync, and similar services such as SugarSync or Dropbox is that Sync utilizes client-side encryption with AES-256 before uploading. Sync is not in possession of the user's authentication data, and cannot access the user's file data or private encryption keys in the cloud.
